The short version
- AWARE is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These terms add details about Premium and how AWARE works.
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. It renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.
- Deleting AWARE doesn't cancel a subscription.
- AWARE is a digital-wellness tool, not medical care, and it can't guarantee every app stays blocked.

Agreement
AWARE: Focus & App Blocker ("AWARE") is provided by Awakened Leads LLC ("we," "us"). By downloading or using AWARE, you agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") and to these Terms of Use. These terms add to the Standard EULA; if they ever conflict, the Standard EULA controls. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
If you're under the age of majority where you live, use AWARE only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you.
Premium subscriptions
- Plans. AWARE is free to download, and one boundary plus a nightly Sleep Boundary stay free. AWARE Premium adds more and longer boundaries, longer focus sessions, every solfeggio tone, the whole Grove, every Golden Emblem and expedition, and your whole Trail. Premium is offered as three auto-renewing subscriptions: monthly, every 3 months, and yearly. The prices and billing periods available to you are shown in AWARE and on Apple's purchase sheet before you buy. We don't offer lifetime purchases.
- Payment. Apple charges your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if one applies. Prices are set in U.S. dollars for the U.S. App Store and vary by country; Apple shows the price that applies to you.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trials. Eligible new subscribers may get a 1-week free trial on any plan: monthly, 3 months or yearly. If you're eligible, the purchase sheet shows the trial's length before you confirm. When the trial ends, the paid subscription starts and you're charged automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Free trials are for new subscribers, and Apple decides eligibility.
- Price changes. If we change the price of a plan, Apple notifies you as its rules require, and you may need to agree before a price increase applies. Existing subscribers may keep their current price where we say so.
- Offer codes. We may offer codes or promotional prices. Their terms are shown when you redeem them through Apple.
- Restore Purchases. If Premium doesn't appear after you subscribed, use Restore Purchases in AWARE. It doesn't charge you again.
Cancel, refunds, and Family Sharing
- Cancel any time in iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions > AWARE. Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and no further renewals are charged.
- Deleting AWARE doesn't cancel your subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How boundaries work
Boundaries rely on Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) features and the permission you grant. What AWARE can block depends on your device, your iOS version, your settings, and what Apple makes available to Screen Time apps. Apple may keep some protected system apps and functions available, and you can turn off Screen Time access in iOS Settings at any time. AWARE doesn't replace Apple's Screen Time controls and doesn't guarantee that every app, website, or feature stays blocked in every situation.
Wellness, not treatment
AWARE supports intentional phone use with boundaries, focus sessions, breathing resets, reminders, Daily Wisdom, and optional tones. It isn't medical, mental-health, addiction, or emergency care, and it doesn't diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Descriptions of solfeggio tones reflect tradition, not medical or scientific claims.
AWARE encourages time outside. Outdoors, stay aware of your surroundings, weather, terrain, and traffic, and don't use your phone while driving. Don't use AWARE in a way that could put you or anyone else at risk. For example, don't block apps you may need in an emergency or for health, safety, or work-critical needs. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact local emergency services. In the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Using AWARE
You agree not to misuse AWARE: don't copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute it except as the Standard EULA or law allows; don't interfere with its security or its purchase checks; and don't use it to monitor or restrict another person without their consent. AWARE, its design, artwork, Daily Wisdom lines, tones, and other content belong to Awakened Leads LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. AWARE's tones and photos are licensed for use inside the app only.
AWARE uses services from Apple, RevenueCat, and Expo, which have their own terms. Links to other sites are provided for convenience, and we're not responsible for their content.
Updates and changes to AWARE
We may update AWARE, including through Apple's App Store and small over-the-air updates delivered by Expo, to fix problems, improve it, or meet legal requirements. We may change or stop offering features, and if a change materially reduces what Premium includes during a paid period, you can cancel, and you may ask Apple for a refund.
Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent the law allows, AWARE is provided "as is" and "as available," and the warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability in the Standard EULA apply. We don't promise that AWARE will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will reach any particular result. Some places don't allow certain disclaimers or limits, so some of these may not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived.
Questions about governing law and disputes are handled as described in the Standard EULA.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms when AWARE changes. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and if a change is material we'll tell you in the app or another appropriate way. Continuing to use AWARE after a change means you accept the updated terms.
